Dr. Robert Lanza's Bio

Robert Lanza is considered by many to be the living embodiment of the character played by Matt Damon in the movie “Good Will Hunting.” Robert grew up as an underprivileged, yet inquisitive youth in Stoughton, Mass., south of Boston. Soon, the young preteen caught the attention of Harvard Medical School researchers when he showed up on the university steps having successfully altered the genetics of chickens in his basement. Over the next decade, he was “discovered’ and taken under the wing of the scientific giants in the technical fields of biotechnology.

Lanza has since become one of the leading – and most controversial - scientists in the world. Currently Vice President of Research & Scientific Development at Advanced Cell Technology, and Adjunct Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Robert Lanza has hundreds of publications and inventions, and 20 scientific books to his credit. Among them are the definitive references in stem cell research "Handbook of Stem Cells" and “Essentials of Stem Cell Biology,” Dr. Lanza received his BA and MD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was both a University Scholar and Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He was also a Fulbright Scholar, and was part of the team that cloned the world's first human embryo, the first to clone an endangered species, and to generate stem cells using a method that does not require the destruction of embryos.

Dr. Robert Lanza has received numerous accolades through his career in biotechnology such as the 2005 Rave Award for Medicine by Wired Magazine, and more recently, the 2006 “All Star” Award for Biotechnology. Dr. Lanza has been featured in CNN, TIME, Newsweek, People, as well as the front pages of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, among others. Robert’s position and work at Advanced Cell Technology focuses on stem cells and regenerative medicine and their potential to provide therapies for some of the world’s most debilitating physical ailments and conditions.

I recently read that the Dr. belives that biology should be placed above physics in regards to Universe theories. I have thought for a while now that if everything on Earth is connected, then shouldn't everything in the Universe also be connected? Maybe there are more similarities between the universe and biology than we imagined. I hate the space is flat theory too. Gravity in space makes things spherical, so why should our universe be flat? Maybe because of our position in the galaxy or Universe, we can only see a portion of space. Just like where you are on Earth, enables you to only see a portion of the horizon due to the curvature of the Earth. Making comparisons to internal biology, I think we will find many similarities between the Universe and internal biology. What if we are more like atoms inside a MUCH larger organism? Maybe our Universe is pregnant and that is why it is expanding. We float through dark energy like a fetus would float in the placental fluids. Or maybe I have WAY too much free time thinking about this stuff.

Dr Lanza,

If you get the chance, read "Energy over Mind" by John mace. After some 50 yrs of research John doesn't disagree with your ideas and gives ways of proving them.

Keep expanding and have fun

Dear Dr Lanza

Many of the ideas in your theory of biocentrism is latently described in Upanishads. Kindly visit my site https://sites.google.com/site/vedicsecret/

where the secret of Upanishads is unfolded. Good Luck
